Long story short~ Lauren, a girl I have known (as an acquaintance) for a long time, was involved in a really bad car accident early Tuesday morning. Her mom happens to be my mentor for internship this quarter. They could really use as much prayer as they can get, because Lauren is in need of a miracle. Her car was found on the side of the road by a passerby after having been there for who knows how long. She is still unconscious today, after having surgery to alleviate bleeding in her brain. She also has various broken bones- legs, ribs etc. She is on a ventilator and has now developed a fever, indicating infection somewhere.
